Lionne Café transports their customers back in time – relishing in the taste of that “first sip” and the good ol’ times shared with friends.

It’s the space where people can catch up over freshly brewed coffee, just like the good ol’ days.

The goal is to create a cafe that captures the warmth of shared moments and evokes fond memories, infusing emotional connection into dining experience.

The Design

Bringing back the past, but bolder.

Lionne's branding is inspired by the retro ambience of the American diners in the 90s, with a modern twist, and the “lion” element from Lionne’s brand name.

We merged contrasting retro and modern typefaces, with the careful centering of lines and elements to symbolize the idea of gathering — a core concept for Lionne Cafe, where people come together to share coffee and create memories.

The Implementation

Manifesting Nostalgia.

From the cozy seating arrangement designed to encourage face-to-face conversations among friends, to the retro-inspired décor that evokes memories of American diners, every aspect is crafted to transport patrons to these nostalgic moments.
